Adds a Logistic Interface that attaches to gun turrets, to keep them stocked with ammo. Works with any modded ammo or artillery turret (5Dim, etc.). Factorio 2.0 continuation of Logistic Gun Turret by Bl4ckmail/Robokat/CaptainWHot.

This mod adds a Logistic Interface that attaches to gun turrets, to keep them stocked with ammo. This is an updated continuation of Logistic Gun Turret by Bl4ckmail/Robokat/CaptainWHot for Factorio 2.0 — all credit for the original mod, concept and design goes to them. Continued under the original MIT license.

Features

  • Place a Turret Interface on any ammo or artillery turret and it keeps the turret stocked from your logistic network, following your request priorities (higher slots = higher priority ammo).
  • Turret Buffer works as a storage proxy for Turret Interfaces, can broadcast its setup through the logistic network and auto-configure when laid out.
  • Startup setting to automatically broadcast interface request changes to other interfaces in the same logistic network.
  • Automatic ghost interface placement on newly built turrets (optional).
  • Multiplayer compatible.

New in 2.0

  • Full Factorio 2.0 port — works with or without Space Age.
  • Supports the new logistic sections: request groups and section multipliers are respected.
  • Quality support: quality ammo is requested, loaded and prioritized correctly (best quality first).
  • Turrets on space platforms are supported (feed the interface with inserters).
  • Interfaces and buffers now have trash slots, so swapped-out ammo is hauled away by bots.
  • Blueprinted interfaces keep their blueprinted requests.
  • Performance improvements and several long-standing bugfixes.

Mod compatibility

Any modded turret of type ammo-turret or artillery-turret works automatically (5Dim, etc.), including multi-tile turrets. Mods with special "turrets" that shouldn't get an interface can opt out at runtime:
