Hello,

it seems its not possible to add this mod to an existing game, when the recipe-origins are already researched.....

could you look into to automatically free the recipes, or possible add a little own strand of research....

Hi!
Do you get an error or just no recipes for lightning rods? I added the mod to a couple of my big old saves and it works fine, AFAIK Factorio enables new recipes for researched technologies. What's your Factorio version and other mods enabled? And what do you mean saying "recipe-origins"?

Then its probably the ohter mods fault (ModMashSplinter)....

ie ligthning rod is currently in energy-distribution-1, which i already have researched, but i can't select the recipe of ligthning rod :-(

I never heard or tried this mod, seems like it's an old overhaul... For now you can try activate the recipes using console:

/c game.player.force.recipes["lightning-rod-1"].enabled = true
/c game.player.force.recipes["lightning-rod-2-accumulator"].enabled = true

I just published separate mod Recipes Reload which solves this problem enabling new recipes of researched technologies when adding any new/updated mod to an existing game save
