As soon as more than 2 ION Cannons appeared in orbit, one started shooting spontaneously, although fire is disabled in the auto settings. Now there are 7 pcs in orbit . Shoots by itself, then the first, then the last (i.e. 7th)
That is the purpose of the mod. It automatically fires at biter nests as soon as one appears on the radar!
By default, you always have 2 ready for manual shots, all others are triggered automatically.
