Every ore patch on every surface is infinite. Patches show a yield percent instead of an ore count — like oil wells — frozen forever at each patch's natural richness. And the percent is the patch's mining speed: a 4,000% mega-patch runs its drills 40x faster, forever. A pure data-stage tweak: no scripting, no per-tick cost, no save bloat. Vanilla ores, Space Age, and modded resources all covered automatically. Dig forever.
Small changes concerning balance, gameplay, or graphics.
Version: 0.2.1
Date: 2026-09-03
Changes:
- Metadata only: author is now nitsujader with a homepage link, expanded mod description, and the portal thumbnail ships in the mod. No gameplay changes.
- Description corrected: yield is frozen at each patch's natural richness (it can read far above or below 100%), not "always 100%".
- Documented: infinite patches display yield % instead of an ore count (like oil wells), and the percent scales mining speed — measured 40x drill output on a 4,000% patch.
Version: 0.2.0
Date: 2026-08-28
Changes:
- Updated for Factorio 2.1 (experimental). The 0.2.x releases target Factorio 2.1; Factorio 2.0 players stay on the 0.1.x line and are unaffected. No behavior changes.
Version: 0.1.0
Date: 2026-08-27
Features:
- Initial release. Every finite resource becomes infinite at data-final-fixes: patches never deplete and yield never decreases, covering player, robot, and mining-drill mining.
- Already-infinite vanilla resources (crude oil, Space Age geysers) are left untouched.
- Space Age and third-party ore mods supported automatically via data.raw.resource walk.
