Infinite Ores

Every ore patch on every surface is infinite. Patches show a yield percent instead of an ore count — like oil wells — frozen forever at each patch's natural richness. And the percent is the patch's mining speed: a 4,000% mega-patch runs its drills 40x faster, forever. A pure data-stage tweak: no scripting, no per-tick cost, no save bloat. Vanilla ores, Space Age, and modded resources all covered automatically. Dig forever.

⛏️ Infinite Ores

Never move your mining outpost again.

Every ore patch on every surface is infinite. The number never goes down — the patch you land on at spawn is still feeding your factory a hundred hours later.

What changes for your game

  • Ore never runs out. Iron, copper, coal, stone, uranium — mine forever.
  • Patches show a yield % instead of an ore count. Infinite ore works like oil wells — and that percent is frozen forever at the patch's natural richness.
  • Yield % is mining speed. A 4,000% mega-patch doesn't just last forever — its drills run 40× faster. A scraped-out 19% remnant never dies either, but it crawls. Prospecting for rich fields finally pays.
  • Build permanent mining bases. Lay out your drills once, run them until the rockets fly. No outpost-hopping, no re-paving rail to the next field over.
  • Expand because you want to, not because you have to. Push outward for richer, faster patches — never because the ore under your smelters died.

What stays vanilla

  • Crude oil and Space Age geysers already behave this way — untouched.
  • Space Age planets included: Vulcanus, Gleba, and Aquilo ores are infinite too.
  • Modded ores? Covered automatically.

Safe to try

No scripts, no UPS cost, no save bloat. Drop it into an existing save — patches simply stop depleting from that moment on. Remove it anytime and the game goes right back to vanilla depletion.
