i Worst planet mod: Err. 404 Magic not found.

Is this a beta? If not it is worst planet mod I have ever played. I tried it for two hours and I had to abandon and uninstall it.

  • No new mechanics: Pump fluid, mine rock, smelt rock, done. Where is the magic?
    I was expecting some runes, using beacon technology, to create "altars"
    (structures that require some specific beacons around central building for it to works)
    Or use the decaying mechanic to decay one item into different item cycling endlessly in loop and use modules to fasten/slow down the decay.
    (Red gem -> Green gen -> Blue gem -> Red gem again with 99% of vanishing, so you need to keep making some to keep going)
    Maybe some alchemy? Use fluid on stone to make gold (instead of copper), a typical example. Or change-based recipes, and call it magic.

  • Broken graphic transition between biomes/water.

  • Awful terrain generation: huge biomes with nothing, making exploration useless. (Unless that is point of making it boringly barren.)
    Maybe something like ribbon world settings could make for an interesting challenge? And say it is lore-wise themed?
  • Too many obstacles: What is point of so many rocks that get into way, just to store the gems in chests. And by using water (imported from ship parked in orbit) you get even more of those gems.
  • No challenges (except figuring out the tech tree triggers, as you can easily miss a step)
    Maybe add interesting pollution mechanics, where each building creates pollution and another buildings will not work, forcing player to spread buildings apart.
  • Trigger tech is supposed to guide player, but fails to do so. Instead it is another obstacle.
  • Art style of the magical rocks looks out of place, not fitting Factorio styling.
  • No planetary rewards: It locks spidertron and really cheap diagonal inserter from another mod and make it more expensive. The special building is not worth the troubles.

FINAL SCORE: 1/10 - I would rather go to Gleba!
- Import all materials from other planets, create local science packs and rocket parts and send them back. Get ice, iron, copper from parked ship above Igrys. Interacting with this planet is not worth it imho.

Is really sad the fact that you could have made a really good list of suggestion based on everything you wright and really help the author to improve the mod, but instead of helping it seems like you're trying to make the author to delete the mod or at least to fell bad for the time he puts in the development.
You should learn some manners.

Sorry, tried my best to provide constructive criticism too and write some ideas into brackets. But the mod feels really undercooked compared to other planet mods and that is why it has such a low score, when it is flagged as complete.

If egorexW want's some ideas, I would like to help, but I didn't wanted to put it all there, I already wrote a lot.
Again, sorry if it sounded harsh.
