Didn’t tried this mod in a “real factory”, but it looks great. I like different capabilities have different design.
Could you add the second kind of duct for pressured fluids? It’s not a sci-fi, high throughput transcontinental pipelines does really exist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oil_pipelines, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipeline_transport. They can be even laid on the seas floor. Its performance is achieved not only by larger diameter, but also by very high pressure. It would be great to have large diameter realistic pipes capable for x12-16 throughput. They should be connected to large and power-hungry compressors containing 16 regular or 4 ducts inputs. To keep game balanced, such pipe have to be expensive: for example, 16 of steel (not an iron!), 4 of refined concrete (for pedestal) and 4 of plastic (for pipe isolation).
