Falkior's Tweaks

A set of qol tweaks designed to enhance the Factorio experience for new and veteran players. This mod was created based on my insights after many hours of gameplay.
Current Features:

Linear Infinite Research Cost: Increases research cost by +1000 per level. Off by default.
Cheap Research Mode: Reduces the cost of all game research by 75% (excluding infinite research). Off by default.
Finite Crude Oil: Crude oil now has a finite quantity rather than an infinite yield.
Offshore Pumps Placement: Offshore pumps can be placed anywhere.
Water Ores: Ore patches can now generate on water tiles.
Reduced Tree Collision: Tree collision nearly removed for smoother navigation.
Vanilla Pump Denerf: Vanilla pump performance reverted to 12,000/sec.
Water-Compatible Electric Poles and Lamps: Big Electric Poles and Lamps can now be placed on water.
Extended Big Electric Pole Range: Range increased to 64 tiles.
Increased Fuel Values: All fuel values increased by 4x.
Configurable Radar Range: Default radar range set to 3x vanilla, with configuration options.
Faster and Configurable Miners: All miners are now significantly faster, with configurable range and speed.
Configurable Roboport Range: Default set to 2x vanilla, with adjustable range.
Enhanced Robot Battery Capacity: Robot batteries are increased to avoid mid-task pauses.
