Exteros Quality of Life System - Tweaks

An optional addon for Exteros' QoL System. It holds the small balance-adjacent tweaks that are not cheats but still change a number the QoL System itself wouldn't touch.

Features

Each feature has its own startup switch. Nothing changes until you turn it on.

⚠️ Fuel Stats - Changes the energy value, vehicle acceleration and top speed of every vanilla and Space Age fuel.

⚠️ Recycler Return Rate - Sets how much the recycler gives back, from 1 to 100% (vanilla 25%), and lets you choose whether that applies only to items that recycle into themselves (the default) or to every recycling recipe except scrap. Handy for tuning quality upcycling loops.

⚠️ Roboports - Makes charging station counts scale with quality, same as the robot and material slot counts already do, and lets you multiply the charging speed of every roboport and personal roboport. Vanilla quality already adds charging speed per level; the multiplier stacks on top of that.

Fuel Stats and Recycler Return Rate replace the standalone mods Adjustable Fuel Stats and Adjustable Recycler. If you still have them installed, these two settings stay hidden; remove the old mod to use them here.

Upgrading from Cheat Mode's Fuel Stats and Recycler Return Rate

Fuel Stats and Recycler Return Rate used to live in Exteros' QoL Cheats (0.3.2/0.4.2 and earlier). Install this addon alongside Cheats 0.3.3/0.4.3 or newer and your settings carry over unchanged; just turn the matching switch back on here. If you keep an older Cheats, Factorio will refuse to load both at once rather than silently dropping one of the settings.

Installation

Install through the in-game mod manager, or download it from the Factorio Mod Portal. Exteros' QoL System is installed with it as a dependency.

Compatibility

• Factorio 2.0 and 2.1 - released as two rows built from the same source, like the QoL System.
• Space Age, Quality, and Elevated Rails - supported.
• Other mods - Fuel Stats and Recycler Return Rate switch themselves off when Adjustable Fuel Stats or Adjustable Recycler is installed.
• Missing a mod? I can only switch off features for mods I know about, and there are far too many on the mod portal to find them all. If you use a mod that does the same thing as one of my features and both run at once, please open an issue with its name and I will add it.
