A state of non-function, not a state of being destroyed. My bad on the title.

The top panel that is dead and stuck at 15*c was created by making a copy of a dead panel from my main array. The bottom panel that is correctly generating heat was placed by hand.

This really messed with me because a very large portion of my primary solar array somehow ended up in this dead state. I was copypasting ghosts which where being placed by the construction drones mod. Copypasting functional panels results in ones that work correctly.

Connecting a dead and a live panel will cause the dead one to warm up but it still will not produce anything.

I ran into this too today, i had an array of 150 v2 panels all were like this. Luckily removing all of them and re-placing them without copy/paste has appeared to fix the issue for me. Took me a while to realize nothing was generating heat. Took me much longer to figure out why (copy and pasted the entire array from freshly placed cooled panels) until I found this post. Pretty nasty bug but at least it's fixable and avoidable once you realize what's happening and what triggers it.

I don't know what it looks like with the normal construction robots because I haven't researched them yet ^^

I had pinged the author on discord and he does not play nor mod factorio anymore. So this will not get fixed.
