Apo's Nuclear Bots SE


Nuclear powered robots that don't need to recharge. Forked from King's Nuclear Bots and changed recipes to have it better integrated for Space Exploration. Drones are using RTGs instead of complete nuclear power plants. Also reduce the speed of drones a bit due to higher load / RTG.

For our feelings the bots die to fast, so the costs are to much.
Our idea is to randomly drop some ingredients on death (e.g. the RTG, as they it is protected by the the case and so on)
But first I will wait for 2.0 to see what changes there ;)

Fork of King's nuclear bots, which is a fork of Buggi's nuclear bots.

Add 4 drones to the game.
- Like in King's/Buggi's mod they do not require recharging.
- Recipe and technology costs are adapted to Space Exploration.
- Use RTGs as power source
- Made the bigger drones also visually bigger

1st research robots:

  • Robots need RTG 1 + other (most SE specific) items
  • No recharging required
Nuclear logistic robot:
  • Little bit slower than normal logistic robots
  • Can carry 10 items
Nuclear construction robot:
  • No additional changes

2nd research:

  • Robots need RTG 2 + other (most SE specific) items (much more expensive)
  • No recharging required
Big nuclear logistic robot:
  • Much slower than normal logistic robots
  • Can carry 100 items
Fast nuclear construction robot
  • Much faster than normal construction robots
  • Can carry 10 items (not sure where this helps)
