And it doesn't do anything, as in doesn't unlock anything.

And yeah I do have the steam generation but in the advanced alchemical ore generation, so I have this broken useless 4th research.

I've already fixed that internally. Recipe auto-generation was checking for Fluid Generation tech, but adding the Fluid Generation recipes to the Ore Generation tech. Give me a bit to work through the rest of your reports and I'll push a combined fix for everything.
