I already mentioned this in a post with suggestions.
I decided to ask here because since Krastorio 2 is an overhaul that adds resources and intermediates then it counts as the base game to adapt around I guess.
I played Age Of Production for a while and in my opinion this mod looks perfect for an extension to Krastorio, and I feel that most of this mod already [seem to] integrate with Krastorio's progresion.
I took a look at both mods and I took these notes:
Fits fine
- Salvager
- Biochemical Facility
- Core miner
- Atomic enricher
- Mineral synthesizer
- Electromechanical faacility
Minor or no change
- Arc Furnace fits as an upgrade to electric furnace, before Krastorio's advanced furnace.
- Transmitter and quantum stabilizer fit fine as they are now, as upgrades to vanilla and Krastorio beacons.
- Hydraulic plant and petrochemical facility look fine as an upgrade to chemical plant before Krastorio's advanced chemical plant.
- Scrubber needs no change, it already is an upgrade to Krastorio's air purifier.
- Quantum computer needs no change, excepts perhaps renaming it to space quantum computer because it's an upgrade to Krastorio's land quantum computer.
- Greenhouse fits fine, except maybe rename it to advanced greenhouse to differentiate it from Krastorio's basic greenhouse.
Adaptations
- In my opinion lumber mill and armory are good as they are now, but advanced assembly machine and quantum assembler could be adapted so both become upgrades to Krastorio's advanced assembly machine.
- Krastorio has biomass too so in can be integrated.
- Krastorio introduces various resources and intermediates that could be added to recipes of this mod.
- I guess some changes in the tech tree to balance progression.
With these changes this mod would become a nice extension to enrich Krastorio 2 || Spaced Out.
