This mod adds an additional recipe for grenades using solid fuel instead of coal. This recipe produces the same grenades as the vanilla recipe.

The alternate recipe is named ANFO Grenade—ANFO is short for Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil, a real-world explosive made by combining a nitrate-based oxidizer with a fuel source derived from petroleum. In Factorio, this grenade recipe uses solid fuel, making it a practical substitute where coal is scarce.

This mod is especially useful when playing with maps or mods that require military science to progress but limit access to coal. A prime example is Any Planet Start, where certain planets—such as Fulgora—have no coal patches at all. You unlock this recipe with a separate research, available after researching Military 2.
