I'm stuck on the platform, is this a bug?

No, in Space Age the character can't leave the platform hub unless landing at a planet. This holds true in Spaceblock (except you can't land at planets).

The camera is stuck on the hub, help!

There's two possible fixes. The quickest is to press enter. If that doesn't work, make sure that there's a continuous path of space platform foundation connecting your hub to the perimeter of your platform - That is to say platform that hasn't been covered with bricks, concrete, etc.
