I just finished spaceblock. In short, yes it is possible to create new platforms. But as far as I can see, it is not useful to send regular spaceplatforms, as you can not request anything on them. Starting a IPL spaceplatform works, when the platform is stationary on an orbit around a planet (e.g. not at the sun), and in the same situation, you can send items between platforms. If the respective IPL requester, reciever and threshold match.
General Feedback for the mod - potential spoilers:
- I really enjoyed playing it! The logistic challange felt new, and once I figured out multi-platform logistics, it felt really rewarding
- some usage of time-warp feels necessary
- please remove items from the tech tree and crafting menu that are not usable at all. Out of habit I researched robots and logistics network, just to be reminded, that those don't work on space-platforms. (similar for artillery+arty-inf-research, car, tank, trains,spidertron,...) Especially for the regular space-platform, that is just not usable, as you can't start from scratch, this was really confusing.
- having the regular electric furnace and one of the new ones having the same stats, except with and /wo module slots seems redundant
- Without the restriction to send all items through the hub, by allowing to insert into cargo bays, the challange felt "not hard enough", therefore I limited myself to not use that feature
- removing spoilage from most gleba products was a mixture of a relief and "too easy". IMO the jellynut and jumako fruit could/should spoil too, but it is good that the asteroids don't spoil, as the sushi asteroid belt around the platform still seemed the easiest solution by far.
Overall I liked the challenge, even though it was way easier than the (most likely) name-sake Seablock, you had to solve new problems, find solutions and weave belts. Thank you for the work you put into this!
