Who wants to go planetside? It's dirty and disgusting, doesn't support engineer life, and has an unpleasant smell. Why not instead grow the factory from orbit?

im just starting out with this mod and theres no way to exit remote view to add character crafting to the mix. if its to avoid the return to surface button, simply blocking that function would be a better option than making us live in the hub
There was a space-platform only mod that allowed freely roaming the platform. I don't know if it still has that feature but it wasn't a good thing.
As for solutions if you enter and exit editor mode you are placed next to the hub so that will solve your issue but to be honest I find remote-only view to be very helpful when quickly going through many menus.
