On Wayward Seas

This time, you can bring a hammock. Overhauls Gleba into an archipelagic planet, with expanded planting options for more versatility and a simpler early-game. Boats recommended.

i Option for an additional planet instead of a replacement

Hi,

thanks for making this mod, it looks really awesome.
As I haven't been on Gleba yet, I will have to postpone adding it until at least my second play through, unfortunatelly.
I really love adding more planets though.

Could you consider adding an option so that your mod does leave the original Gleba untouched, but adds a Gleba sibling to the solar system, that is a copy of Gleba with all the changes this mod makes applied to it?

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Cheers.

While I won't entirely rule out the possibility of a separate planet, it's probably not on the table anytime soon. I'll be adding a feature to entirely disable the custom world generation in next update to allow trying out the new crops in a previously-vanilla world, but the overhaul is designed as a single package.

I'm glad you are not ruling it out entirely and will just hope then.

There's another mod that I wondered what it would be good for: Intercontinental Rocketry Forked

Based on your knowledge about your mod, do you think it would affect the copies of Gleba as well? If not, it would just be the perfect solution.

It would, as OWS alters the core Gleba world generation parameters and every copy refers back to them. While it isn't strictly impossible that the two world generation styles could cohabitate, I would have to effectively create a new parallel version of the Gleba world generation expressions to provide to the alternate surfaces.

I see. Sounds like supporting your mod as a separate planet would be quite some work as well then. Thanks for the response.
