I've been playing the expansion solo with a couple of additional mods.

These were the first missions I was in a position to complete.

One to drive the car back to the warp platform.

One to destroy a massive biter.

As soon as I complete either mission, I die. With an explosion crater appearing wherever I was.

I tried driving the car through the platform teleporter and also taking the long way around, same effect both times. Usually it's instant but I did manage to exit the car once on the other side. No difference.

Is this something you've encountered before? I unloaded all the other mods and it didn't change anything.

I started a new game and immediately got blown up on my first warp. Only mods I had were some light QoL ones:

Auto Deconstruct
Bob's Adjustable Inserters
Blueprint Flip and Turn
Bullet Trails
FactorioHD
Helmod
Prismatic Belts
Queue to Front
Speed Control
Squeak Through

That being said, I removed everything except FactorioHD and it didn't blow me up this time. I'll try to narrow down which one's causing it.

Edit:

It didn't consistently trigger by adding/removing specific mods. Still a mystery.
