g Check out CircuitHUD-V2, an improvement over Visual Signals!

Check out the improved version here: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/CircuitHUD-V2

While I appreciate improvements, I would like to point out that this is a completely different mod.

I would also have appreciated a Pull-Request, I have plans to improve my existing mod but I can only spend my time on so many things. I have some ideas for even more improvements than the ones you have made.

Also, I would like to ask you to perhaps mention me already in the "Introduction" part of your mod and give me some credits for the work I have done?

Hey Zomis,

I might have phrased it wrong but I took everything from a different mod and build on that:
https://mods.factorio.com/mod/CircuitHUD
I have not used anything from your mod(s), otherwise I would have happily given you credit.

I just mentioned CircuitHUD-v2 here since they are indeed very similar, only mine has several more features that were requested by Visual-signals users and since this mod hasn't been updated in three months I figured I would shamelessly promote my alternative.

I did for convivence sake referenced Visual Signals at the bottom of the mod page if people would like yours better than mine.

I would be happy to hear your other improvements though so I can steal the ideas :P

Must be big improvements looking at the last update that happend or is this abandoned?

Not entirely, some work has been done on it, but I have also started working on other mods as well. But right now I'm focusing on other, non-Factorio aspects of life.

I know it's been several years, but I'd like to respond that it's bad form to use one mod's forum to promote another mod, just sayin'

Why is it bad form to give users alternative options?

like I said, his mod was performing bad because it was cancelling other mods (like changing car sounds, inventory size and adding grid), so I created a better mod that didn't do all that. did you happen to notice that mod hasn't updated since 0.17 and mine gets updated at least with every major version of the game ?,

the other more important point is you actually started a thread about a competing mod, I only mentioned my mod inside a discussion about an issue in the mod - that's the big difference - I wasn't using his mod's forum starting a new discussion with "I did it better than you"

Literally zero difference, but keep telling yourself whatever you need to cope with being a hypocrite.
