[Latest] --- Why was the center connection removed? Can't it be player defined in a setting?
With a suggestion to have Thermal Tap be "Dual-Use", so Fluidpipe + Heatpipe, as well as have the functionality be optionally integrated into Offshore Pumps, I was faced with a setting-hell of complicated options. Not wanting to baffle the user with a million settings, and also because it just looks visually more appealing, I've decided to remove the center-heat-pipe connection in favor of a permanent fluid-output.
The sides still work as usual for heatpipes, and the center supplies the tapped fluid. Visually it works much nicer. The [Integrated Offshore Pump] Startup Mod-Setting lets you decide if you want the dedicated entity, or have it folded into the base-game Offshore Pump.
[Latest] --- I changed between Integrated Offshore-Pump / Thermal Tap modes, but everything is still as it was?
To prevent half your factory breaking, existing [Thermal Tap] and [Offshore Pump] you have placed are preserved and still work. Even the items stored in inventories/chests are preserved, and you can still place them down as such to no ill effect. Mining/Deconstructing a Thermal Tap in Integrated Offshore Pump mode will result in an Offshore Pump to slowly trickle them out of the system.
[Latest] --- Lava is displayed at 1,500°C and Ammonia-Solution as 0°C, but I only get 1,000° and 15°C?
This is an engine limitation, and out of my control. Temperatures of any (heat-)pipeable fluid can only go between 15° and 1000°C.
