Hola, senor!

Making a modpack with Team Competition, Space Exploration, and Krastorio 2 as main components.
Some keyword ideas - if you ask, I'll unzip them.

Base, Fortress, Train, Deep Mineral, Mule should be researchable or activateable.
Was extremely curious about them when I saw the expanding researches which were showing up.
Are they? Using a tech-hiding mod.

Wooden poles and chests shouldn't be fuel - not your responsibility.

Starting "smiley" area shouldn't be Nauvis, if you care for not breaking some of my testing-cheese and mindless fun.

The moving base idea really spins me, as I loved Mobile Factory for the portable base, and perfect ME storage system.
Sadly it was duplicating gases like oxygen and hydrogen, and sand.

Hi there. About changing nauvis lobby, that would be a bit complicated. I cant use nauvis for the proper game because on many scenarios I need to delete and recreate the surface... nauvis cant be deleted. And keeping nauvis populated would ruin performance. I know this choice makes many other mods incompatible when they need nauvis for some reason.
But if you need some help to make your things compatible with multilpe surfaces, I can help. PM me on discord.

You are marvellous! I accept the opinions of more experienced on the field discussed, it's only logical.
My tribes will horde over your discord, I sent them with this holy mission.

For also logical (and lazyness) reasons I also answer here, because I consider discord not a great surface to keep information on.
I mean without a lot of exact topic enforced rooms, pings, channel descriptions and threads - when owners aren't meticious enough to make members suffer (like we do on the Guild of Calamitious Intent, a lovely, peaceful, toxic community).

So nauvis should be kept as choosing start surface.
That could be circumvented by:
-having a mod config option creating/omitting the smiley-face pond generation
-having a switch in-game (in your wisely made admin-cogwheel menu) activating/deactivating inventory deletion effect

That would make nauvis both the playfield and the start-screen.
You can also (but I'm over the top here) regenerate smileyface area after pressing Start to the original content, which this mod (by Earendel) already selectively does: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/regenerate-terrain?from=search
