When a platform (suddenly) dies the surface doesn't delete itself so you can see what went wrong and/or grab a blueprint.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
Bug reports should include a save file, and a video if reproduction steps are needed.
I forget issues exist all the time so please bump discussions that are still unresolved.
