This may not be fixable, buuuuuut:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Ride in a rocket
2. Launch it.
3. Open Universe Explorer and View Surface on any planet

Result: You're stuck in remote view on the surface you launched from, except you move super slowly and can't interact with any objects.

Tested without this mod and remote view works normally during rocket launches.

are you absolutely sure this mod is to blame? i can hardly imagine it being responsible.

Pretty sure, yeah. I encountered the bug, immediately suspected this mod, (I imagine something about the destination the player is supposed to show up at gets broken) disabled only this mod, and it fixed the bug.

I didn't test with literally only SE and this mod, but I'd expect the same behavior.
