g Research Too Expensive

(updated a day ago)

Hello, I think you've mistakenly made the research too expensive. It requires 100 packs for 15 seconds x 30 times. Sucked all my reserves dry in an instant in my early build and I feel like this has to be a mistake.

please update to 0.1.27 there you change it in startup settings

Thank you for the additional options, however what I mean to say is that, seemingly no other base game technology nor anything from any of the 250 other mods that I'm using, typically have research cost anything more than 1 pack per cycle. Your's is charging 100 per cycle. This is also true for the battleship I just noticed. Meaning that your sailboat from here costs 3000 tier 1 science packs to research instead of what I assume you meant to be 30. Which means that your battleships take 25000 Tier 1, 25000, tier 2, 25000 tier 3, and 25000 military packs to research. For reference, one of the biggest researches in the game is Legendary quality, which cost 5000 of 10 each of other research packs, for a total of 50,000 Total packs. Your battleships cost 100,000 and it's a tier 3 research.

Okay, you caught me ;) I'm not used to native gameplay. This game has always interested me most as a sandbox, and I'm not used to native units of measurement for learning.

I'll try to figure it out...

Maybe you'd like to send me your suggestions. I'll add you as a native technology consultant contributor. :) ;)

Hey, I get it and I really appreciate some of the work you're doing for sure! I think you're numbers are good except that first number. It should just be 1 instead of 100. For example, your Rancher mod is set correctly in terms of research - requiring 1x Tier 1 and 1x Tier 2 Pack, 75 times, 20 seconds per cycle. Sailboat makes sense as an early boat for what I think you meant to be 1x tier 1, 30 times, 15 seconds per cycle. Same with the battleship.
