Robots carry a swappable battery pack: on a roboport charging spot they trade the empty pack for a charged one from the logistic network and fly off at once. No new buildings.

Features:
- Robot battery packs in up to three tiers: standard, high capacity (Krastorio 2 lithium-sulfur batteries, or plain batteries without it) and supercapacitor (Space Age).
- Each pack has its control circuits: 5 electronic circuits for the standard pack, 5 advanced circuits for high capacity, 5 processing units for supercapacitor.
- Robots are built with an empty battery pack; high capacity and supercapacitor robots hold two and four times as much.
- A robot on a roboport charging spot swaps its pack for a charged one from the logistic network and leaves at once, which lets a roboport serve two to three times as many robots.
- Personal roboports in armor, vehicles and spidertrons swap packs too, from their owner's main inventory or trunk.
- Empty packs are charged in assembling machines, using about as much energy as they hold.
- Recipes that move a robot to a bigger battery pack and give the old pack back.
- A research branch of its own: Robot battery swap (after the first robot research) starts the swapping, then High capacity and Supercapacitor robot batteries.
