Reverse Chemistry: compression from gas to heavy oil

by AivanF

Provides reverse recipes for compression: - Methane gas (if SE is installed) => - Petroleum gas (aka propane gas) => - Light oil => - Heavy oil. Meant to be not cheaty, it's totally resource inefficient in a basic workflow, but can be greatly useful with mods that provide excess production of one resource. Configurable with startup settings: enable or disable any new recipe.

Provides reverse recipes to produce more heavy and dense hydrocarbon fluids through compression of lighter ones:

  • Methane gas (which is CH4) (if Space Exploration is installed) =>
  • Petroleum gas (mostly consists of propane gas, C3H8) =>
  • Light oil =>
  • Heavy oil.

Meant to be not cheaty, it's totally resource inefficient in a basic workflow (if you don't use imbalance modded productivity modules), but can be greatly useful with mods that provide excess production of one resource. Also, compression recipes take twice more time, hence consume x2 more energy. Configurable with startup settings: enable or disable any new recipe.

Warning!

Note: it's a first version of the mod, so, recipes ratios may be slightly adjusted if they will be known to be imbalanced.
