Lets you set a machine, or a machine ghost, to a recipe you have not researched yet. The machine holds the recipe and waits, the same way it does when a blueprint places one, and starts working the moment the research is done. The unresearched recipes are listed in a panel beside the usual recipe selection, which you can show or hide.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
