Quality Seeds


Provides a way to use those quality seeds, allowing Gleba to be a late-game source of quality materials. For each cultivatable plant (included those added by mods) adds a cultivator building, which can grow those plants using a seed and water as the recipe. Additionally, adds late game options to grow plants in space!

b Error on startup with "Wooden Fulgora: Coralmium Agriculture" Mod

When running Quality Seeds 1.2.2 along with Wooden Fulgora Coralmium Agriculture 1.1.2, the game crashes on startup and blames Quality Seeds, while you can still disable Wooden Fulgora and then it will run just fine.

I don't have any files to give, all information about this is easily accessibly by just downloading the 2 mods and running them together, latest version of factorio and both mods, no other mods enabled or any other nonsense, should be easy to replicate.

The only reason I put this here instead of in the Wooden Fulgora discussion is because the game blames this mod instead of Wooden Fulgora, I have no idea what the error message means.

I personally dont care for mod compatiblity too much myself, if I was making a mod i'd probably be more annoyed at all the people telling me my mod isn't compatible with another mod "I didn't make it with that one in mind, why would it be compatible!" but even just a listing as a conflicting dependency would be nice since this isn't documented anywhere yet. (Compatibility would probably be nice too! I'm just trying to spread the information)

Me too, downgrade Wooden Fulgora from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 works. but I want the next version of this mod to be compatible with 1.1.2 of Wooden Fulgora mods

Hiya! Creator of Wooden Fulgora here. I can add a short-term fix for it from my end, but I was actually thinking it might be good for there to be an API to tell quality seeds to not make a dedicated greenhouse building for certain plants. This is likely for the new "inert seed" "plant" which actually would be pretty imbalanced and weird to be able to cultivate and quality-cycle since the "plant" grows instantly.

Howdy Saf! Thats a great idea, I'll ensure I make a change for a skip-list, which ensures that any plant that are not on that list will not be "Quality Seeded"!

With the number of mods increasing by the month, we may get a Kessler Syndrome for mod dependencies and cause an unacceptable increase in game crashes. Some kind of inter-modularity and standardization should be put in place.
