well that, when i load a game my chemical plants show a disabled icon, the recipe is not there when i try to set it, my current mods are
blueprint sandbox
bottleneck lite
bullet trails
factorio library
helmod planner

correct, the chemical plants will not be able to use this recipe, you'll need the special holmium chemical plant building.

the reason it "has" to be a special entity is that i need to intercept the hidden output item, so i cannot do that to all chemical plants, i intentionally removed the technology unlock for the normal holmium recipe so none of the items/progress get lost and to make it easy for players to find which machines they need to manually replace

The "hidden" item output is visible for me. It deadlocks the machine. Only the character can take the item out.
