Py God Module
It helps you reach the railway age. Then it asks you to stand on your own.
Py God Module is a productivity add-on designed specifically for Factorio 2.1 + Full Pyanodons.
Pyanodons has enormous production chains, long crafting times and an extremely demanding early game.
This mod gives the player powerful productivity modules to reduce that early burden — but it is not intended to permanently erase the scale, logistics and progression that make PY interesting.
Starting with v1.1.0, Py God Module includes an optional Progression Milestone System.
As your factory grows, the mod gradually asks whether you are ready to give up part of its power.
The choice is always yours.

Progression Milestones
Milestone 1 — The Railway Age
Triggered when your force has cumulatively produced:
- 50 Locomotives
- 10,000 Rails
Both conditions must be satisfied.
At this point, the player should normally have enough railway infrastructure, construction materials and rolling stock to begin moving production away from the early-game bus or spaghetti base and into large distributed factories.
The mod will offer the first productivity reduction.
The reduction is never forced.
You may accept it immediately or postpone it and reopen the proposal later from the Py God Module GUI button.
Milestone 2 — Chemical Science
Triggered after cumulative production of:
5,000 Chemical Science Packs
By this point, a significant part of the chemical-science technology tier should already be available and PY begins another major period of production scaling, advanced processing and factory expansion.
The mod will offer another productivity reduction.
Again, the decision belongs entirely to the player.
Milestone 3 — The Final Offer
Triggered when your force produces its first:
Py Science Pack 4
Producing Py Science Pack 4 requires a Perfect Sample and represents entry into one of the deepest stages of Pyanodons progression.
At this point, the God Modules have completed the job they were created for.
If the final offer is accepted:
Easy
God Modules are reduced to the standard Pyanodons productivity-module values:
+10% / +20% / +30%
Coward
One final advantage remains:
1.5× the standard Pyanodons productivity-module values
+15% / +30% / +45%
This is intentionally a much larger reduction than the previous milestones.
At this stage of the game, advanced recipes and large-scale factory rebuilding become available, allowing production to be redesigned around the actual efficiencies of late-game Pyanodons.
Warning: accepting the final offer can significantly reduce the output of factories designed around the previous God Module values.
Rebuilding and scaling production with newly unlocked higher-tier recipes is recommended.

From this point onward, the factory you build will no longer be a factory made by the power of these modules.
It will be your factory.
Why does productivity decrease?
Extremely high productivity is useful during the early stages of PY, where the player must build many complicated production chains before large-scale logistics are available.
However, productivity compounds through production chains.
When very high productivity is applied repeatedly across many stages, upstream material demand can become so small that:
- Improved recipes lose their value
- Resource scaling becomes unnecessary
- Railway traffic becomes artificially low
- Large production complexes become unnecessary
- A major part of Pyanodons progression disappears
The milestone system is designed to avoid this.
Early game:
God Modules help you survive.
Mid game:
God Modules help you expand.
Late game:
Pyanodons itself becomes your source of efficiency.
PY-aware Productivity Rules
Py God Module does not blindly enable productivity on every recipe.
Normal one-way industrial production can benefit from the modules, while recipe classes that could become broken or exploitable through productivity are protected.
Examples include:
- Returned catalysts and circulating state materials
- Pure state-conversion loops
- Recycling and container-handling loops
- Biological progression systems
- Nuclear and fuel-cycle processes
- Energy-conversion loops
- Other cyclic recipes without meaningful net production
The goal is to make PY significantly more forgiving without destroying its production logic.

Crafting time: 60 seconds
Py God Module II
Crafting time: 600 seconds
Cost: 10 × Py God Module I
Py God Module III
Crafting time: 6000 seconds
Cost: 10 × Py God Module II
Each module tier now has its own redesigned PY-themed icon, with increasing mechanical complexity as the module tier rises.
Existing Saves
The milestone system supports existing saves.
When loading an existing game, the mod checks lifetime production statistics for the current force.
If a milestone has already been reached, its proposal can appear without requiring those items to be produced again.
When a productivity reduction is accepted, existing Py God Modules are automatically converted to the corresponding progression stage.
Postponed proposals can be reopened later through the small Py God Module GUI button.
