You earn more points if you acquire the Prestige points while the "Smart Start" and "Bigger & Faster Expansion" upgrades are active; the bonus stacks within the same run.
For example, if you max out "Smart Start" and then gain points, you receive a higher total.
Afterward, you can reallocate the points from "Smart Start" until you reach the next milestone, at which point you invest in "Smart Start" and "Bigger & Faster Expansion" again, reallocating the points once you have received them.
