g Foundry base productivity and heat exchanger recipe

Hi! Two questions from testing 1.0.30.

  1. obsidiax-ice-foundry (+25%) and obsidiax-ice-foundry-mk2 (+50%, prototypes/entity.lua:663) have a built-in productivity bonus and accept chemistry and cryogenics (entity.lua:496). The built-in bonus ignores allow_productivity = false, so recipes that disable productivity, like the vanilla fluoroketone-cooling, still return more in the foundry. Is that meant to apply to those generic categories?
  2. obsidiax-heat-exchanger (prototypes/recipe.lua:228) is the only obsidiax-or-hand recipe without surface_conditions, so it can be hand-crafted anywhere. Intended?

  1. If the output of a recipe has "ignored_by_stats = 10" in the results line, like in fluoroketone cooling, the built in productivity will not work.
  2. That recipe is alternative recipe for a vanilla item that doesnt require steel, the original item can be handcrafted as well.

Thanks, you're right about fluoroketone cooling, my example was bad. A case that does get it: in obsidiax-ice-foundry-mk2 four crafts of assembling-machine-1 (a crafting recipe without productivity) give 6 machines, and 5 in the regular ice foundry, since the machine's base productivity applies regardless of allow_productivity. If that's intended for all the categories the foundries take, all good. The heat exchanger reason makes sense.

Crafting extra machines by utilizing materials in a less wasteful way, isn't too much of leap (in my opinion). I very much wanted a crafting machine with built in productivity. Things like cooling and uranium have protections against it (most mod authors know to use ignored_by_stats for recipes that shouldnt give extra).

I definitely go outside the norms with my mods.
