NoWay Overhaul (Beta)
An add-on for Krastorio 2 Spaced Out that adds a new mid-game metal, titanium, and gives the base ores a new look.
This is a beta (0.9): the numbers and recipes may still change, and feedback is welcome.
Requires: Space Age and Krastorio 2 Spaced Out.
Titanium
- New ore that spawns on Nauvis and shows up as a rare byproduct of crushing metallic asteroids.
- Unlocked by the technology Titanium processing (needs red and green science and Krastorio's fluids chemistry).
- Chain: titanium ore -> ingot -> plate (both in a furnace), then plate -> gear wheel (2 plates) or rods (1 plate -> 2 rods).
- Mining needs chlorine (10 per ore), like Krastorio's rare metals, so you need a drill with a fluid input.

The technologies that unlock these recipes now require Titanium processing.
Recycling titanium gear wheels and rods returns 70% of their ingredients.
New look for the ores
Iron ore, copper ore, stone, coal, uranium ore and crude oil are redrawn. Every ore has 8 variants (tilted and mirrored)
so patches look less repetitive. Only the graphics change: spawn rules, mining time and stack sizes stay as they are.
Radioactive uranium
Walking on uranium ore hurts (poison damage). Players in vehicles are not affected.
Settings (Map)
- Uranium ore damages players - on/off (default: on).
- Uranium ore damage - damage per check, twice a second. 5 = 10 damage per second.
- Extra inventory slots - dropdown: 0, +113, +227, +340, +453, +567, +680 (default: 0). Applies to every player, on top of research bonuses.
Settings texts are translated into 46 languages.
Compatibility
- Needs Krastorio 2 Spaced Out; Space Age is required by it.
- The extra inventory slots use the per-player bonus, so they stack with research bonuses; another mod that sets the same bonus may conflict.
- Safe to add to an existing save; new ore graphics only appear on newly generated chunks.
Known limitations (beta)
- Titanium spawns on Nauvis only.
- The recipes and amounts are first guesses and not yet balanced.
