Modern Bulk Rail Loaders: Pooled (Unofficial 2.1 Fix)

by kfsone

Unofficial Factorio 2.1 port of Modern Bulk Rail Loaders: Pooled, renamed so it can coexist on the portal with the original. Original mod by Sølve Monteiro (https://github.com/solvemon/bulk-rail-loaders-pooled); 2.1 fix by kfsone. Bulk train loading/unloading silos that share a single pooled inventory per station. Contents can never get unbalanced between wagons, so automated deliveries (e.g. Cybersyn) always complete when the station total suffices. Pooled-architecture rework inspired by Modern Bulk Rail Loader by Vyl. Replaces the original mod: disable/remove modern-bulk-rail-loader-pooled; silos and pools already in a save are re-registered on first load.

Unofficial Factorio 2.1 port of Modern Bulk Rail Loaders: Pooled. Original mod by Sølve Monteiro (https://github.com/solvemon/bulk-rail-loaders-pooled); 2.1 fix by kfsone. Renamed so it can sit on the portal beside the original.

This replaces the original mod: disable/remove modern-bulk-rail-loader-pooled first (same prototypes; marked incompatible).

Every train station has one hidden pooled inventory; each visible silo is a window onto it, so wagons can never get unbalanced and Cybersyn deliveries complete whenever the station total suffices. Use the Bulk loaders panel on a train stop to pick wagon count, locomotive gap and Load/Unload.

Existing saves: silos, pools and contents are kept and the mod's script state is rebuilt from the map on first load. Station Load/Unload mode cannot be recovered from the map: every station comes back as Load, so switch unloading stops back to Unload in the stop panel (or by script: remote.call("mbrlp", "set_station_mode", surface_name, x, y, "unload")). The panel's remembered wagon count resets.
