Added support to your mod in https://mods.factorio.com/mod/SimpleCompress too.
It tracks morphite-ore's own subgroup. If you change it, the compressed item will automatically follow; it is currently within the vanilla intermediates.

I'm not seeing the compressed morphite ore available in the Deadlocks' stacking techs currently, are you seeing the same? I'm also seeing that data-final-fixes.lua is an empty file.
This is version 0.5.1
