King Jo's Phalanx CIWS


Adds the Phalanx CIWS to effectively destroy airborne targets. This turret will only target entities with the trigger_target_mask 'air-unit'. That means the player or entities that are able to be targeted and got the mask assigned to by other mods. A mod option can enable a turret version that also targets normal enemies! BRRRT inclusive!

Hello,

So 1st off, thanks for making mods. Lotta people seem to forget mod makers do this for free with their own spare time so just wanted to start with that b4 I forget.

But was wondering does the Anti-Air damage also apply to ground targets when it's in ground turret mode? Same with ur 2cm flak tank. See it listed on the ammo but not sure if it does anything to bitters or only mod flying things and only the 2 other damage types get applied. No way for me to test that so thought I'd ask.

And any chance of buffing it in some way? Maybe it needs more than 20% on it's damage tech or to get the firing rate speed tech? It's damage is just... lacking for the price of the ammo. The extra range is nice but it's kinda offset by size of building. Just feels like a longer range green ammo turret atm. It's not bad, it just doesn't feel strong. Which is a shame as we kinda love it all the same.

Oh and could you maybe bump the stack size a tiny bit to maybe 5 or 10 vs one for some QoL?

Or suppose could just make it all configurable for the player?

Ether way thanks again for making this and we'll still gonna use them here and there for the cool factor ether way, just not as main turret as is.

Oh and if it's not a huge issue to fix, the firing animation still has it pointing up into the air. Which looks a bit odd, but I get this was an AA turret you, I assume, quickly gave a ground attack mode for people.
