Thank you for putting "cats temporarily turn into biters when they attack" in the mod description. I almost didn't download it because I'd rather not see the kind of awful thing that happens to every pet in "Rimworld"!
I interpreted that biter-transformation into "you'll see dead Biters only." :)

That functionality (and wording) I took directly from the original mod. I considered making them invulnerable, and I might add that (probably as a setting toggle) in the near future.

hmm.. the cat could get the "zoomies" and then dart away from battle into to a "home base" of sorts (like one of the lure boxes) and refuse to come back out unless they are given sufficient treats. :I

That is actually a fantastic idea. I'm new to modding Factorio so it might take a bit, but I'm going to look into that.

I'm literally guessing here, but maybe when the unit is injured, swap it with a vehicle type (use cat graphic) and have it drive off in some cardinal direction.
