What does it do?
It destroys whatever you put in it. Items are shredded to nothing and fluids are burned off. Nothing comes out but pollution.

Does it work with items from other mods?
Yes. It makes a "Shred X" recipe for every item in the game, including other mods', and picks the right one by itself, like the recycler.

How do I get rid of fluids?
Connect a pipe to its fluid input. Any fluid is burned at 200 units per second while it has power, with black smoke from the chimney.

Do I need Space Age?
No, it works with or without it.

Does it freeze on Aquilo?
Yes, like the recycler: it needs heat there. While frozen it does nothing, and the fluid inside isn't lost.

Can I get anything back?
No, that's the point: it's for things you don't want. If you want to recover materials, use the recycler.

Does it pollute?
Yes: 12 per minute while shredding, plus the pollution of every fluid unit it burns.

Will it work with Factorio 2.1?
Yes, it will be updated when 2.1 is out as stable.
