IndustrialCraft - Better Logistic Containers (items teleporter)

More settings for logistics chests.. Chests allow items to be teleported to target chests using a paired Signal ID (if set). Items are moved almost instantly to distant chests even from other planets. More in the mod description...

Logistics Logistic network Storage Cheats

b Quality

Hello,

When I place an item with a specific quality into the requester chest, the chest does not receive only the filtered material.

Steps to reproduce:
I set up a production line for a specific quality.
-At the specific passive provider chest, where previously a higher quality was produced, I set the filter.
The requester chest is configured to request the same material with the same quality.
-Additionally, I reduced the storage slots to 1.
After this, the same material arrived, but without the specified quality.
-Furthermore, the quality-producing facility began producing without quality instead of the specified quality.
--This occurred without reducing the material requirements.

Thank you very much!

Hello, I feel like you didn't understand the controls and how they work :)
This mod only adds an extra GUI for these 2 chests. The settings in the GUI have nothing to do with the other chest settings.

Example:

Here is a screen of a red chest (passively providing). I will only set the location ID (not mandatory, but I want the items to be sent only for that planet). And I will set the signal ID to anything with quality (it doesn't matter). And the sent quality as mystical. This means that all items in the chest will be changed to this quality and sent to the receiving chest! This is not a filter. Nothing else

And here is a screen of the blue chest (receiving). I set exactly the same location ID, because that's what the passive provider from which I want to receive an item has. And I set the same signal with the same quality. Again, I emphasize that it is a signal, it has nothing to do with the contents of the chest. And I don't set anything else.

You can of course set up other things like filtering etc. that the chest allows, but this only applies to the logistics network and robots. This setting around teleportation and signals goes completely outside the logistics network. And it always takes the entire contents of the chest and sends it to the chests with the same location ID and signal.

I just didn't want to add another new chest to the game, but just used (abused) the existing one. So the chest settings work the same as before (logistics network, robots) and whatever is set in the new GUI for transfer takes precedence over the other chest settings. So it is possible to have chests for the logistics network, but if there is a signal for transfer, the content will be transferred regardless of filtering.

Personally, I recommend having chests for 1 type of item and if there are multiple qualities, then for each quality separately. This is the current solution if you want to use transfers. Yes, you will have a lot of chests :)
I hope it's clear now. If something doesn't work in what I described, feel free to write.
