Turrets are built using salvaged self-learning AI tech from your ship allowing them to get deadlier with practice. Extends turrets via ranking system based on kills. Turrets generated so not limited to vanilla, identifiable by overlaid rank insignia. Rank buffs individual turrets.

g Blueprinting

Damn. I was kinda hoping picked up turrets lost their rank. They don't, of course, but that means I can't usefully(!) blueprint them. I have a tiny blueprint of a turret, a big power pole, a requester chest and an inserter (the obvious, 3x5). But levelled-up turrets are not used in those BPs by bots. I cannot request ranked turrets either (since they don't show up in the menu). And it's probably a game limitation that makes ranked turrets not be considered as turrets for blueprints.

Love the idea, but this way it's pretty much unusable in the long term. :(

Working in potential option to disable picking up ranged turrets. will be setting kill counter disabled.
Not sure what I can do about request may be a fix sound like there should be
