Turrets are built using salvaged self-learning AI tech from your ship allowing them to get deadlier with practice. Extends turrets via ranking system based on kills. Turrets generated so not limited to vanilla, identifiable by overlaid rank insignia. Rank buffs individual turrets.

g Kill Counter resets on pickup

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how the "Exact" kills count is supposed to work, but I have it set to exact in my game, and if I pick up a turret, it resets the kills counter to whatever the minimum for the turrets current rank is. Is that normal, or maybe a mod conflict?

Works now on kill counters! Thank you so much for the update! - As a side note I'm looking at how to make the leveled turrets work as ingredients (I.e. a Bob's Warfare integration), currently they don't seem to count toward the needed ingredients, say like if you have a Rank 2 Tier 1 turret, you can't use it to make a rank 2 Bob's turret. I might just post it on the portal as a compatibility patch if I get it working.

Sounds cool and complex, you may want to check the setting as users can define ranks. Shouldnt be an issue though if your only using the first few. Let me know how it goes
