Silba’s Classes

Silba’s Classes adds Mage and Engineer progression to Factorio 2.0. Earn experience by defeating enemies, level up, and improve your class-specific bonuses. Experience rewards scale with enemy strength using diminishing returns, so tougher enemies give more experience without making high-health enemies overwhelm progression. The default level cap is 100 and can be adjusted in the mod settings.

Mage

Develop a rechargeable energy shield and unlock a growing selection of combat spells. Spells use Factorio damage types and visual effects, including lasers, lightning, fire, physical attacks, and explosions. Learn and rank up abilities with ability points, choose which spells to equip, and use their individual cooldowns and improving effects to shape your build.

Engineer

Build strength through a rechargeable personal battery and a field supply shop. The battery gradually charges and can feed a nearby electric network through a connection to one friendly electric pole. Earn Engineering points over time and by fighting, then spend them on machines, power equipment, defenses, and supplies. Shop items remain visible when locked by research, with tooltips explaining what technology the team needs to unlock them.

The Engineer also has a Repair Beam that consumes repair-pack durability to repair nearby friendly machines. It cannot heal player characters.

Mod settings

Adjust the level cap, experience progression, class bonuses, Mage spell strength and targeting, Engineer point income, Repair Beam, battery, shop prices, and restock speed.
