Large total conversion mods.
Augmented or new ways of transporting materials - belts, inserters, pipes!
Map generation and terrain modification.
Things related to oil and other fluids.
Furnaces, assembling machines, production chains.
I'm not sure if it is my map or what, but gaia is just worms and none of the actual special resources that you can get from gaia. Since you can't craft them, this is something of a game breaker sadly :(
