g Enriched coal suggestion

Thanks for all your hard work on the mod!

I have a small suggestion: right now, enriched coal is only used in steel production. Would it be possible to replace regular coal with enriched coal in other production recipes as well? (Explosive, Grenade, Plastic, Coal Liquefaction, Poison and Slowdown capsule)

Thanks again!

Hi mate, thanks for the compliments, really appreciated. :D
Could be an interesting thing to do now that you make me think.

Here you are - wasn't so difficult to integrate in the game now that I think about it.
Sometimes it's just a matter of ideas I guess. :3

Thanks for the quick update!

The idea behind the suggestion was that this way I wouldn’t have to send both coal and enriched coal to the main bus. And of course, it's easier to ask you to include the modification in the mod than to write an additional one. :)

By the way, would you consider adding coal liquefaction as well?

Can be a thing enriched coal on coal liquefaction. But this could come on a more broad update on Oil processing. So I want to think about it.

Is there a reason Enriched Coal doesn't have a fuel value when all the other coal "things" (Dust/Clump/Chunk) added by this mod do?

Yep, enriched coal is a simple intermediate dedicated to steel production, therefore it has no fuel value.
This allows you to update your already-existing setups (and boost efficiency) without the need to change intermediates, production chain, etc. and without breaking everything on the fuel side with production modules.
(Before the introduction of enriched coal things worked like that, and was pretty annoying.)
(Now you just need to add another production step at the top of the chain and you're ready to go.)
