I removed the mod because i wasn't using the trains. removal caused fluid pumps to stop connecting to fluid wagons . i re-added the mod and the trains started connecting again after re-entering the stations.

Not too sure what's going on there, the premise of Factorio as far as I know is that if you remove something it should not have any effect beyond a sprite/recipe migration message on load and the game should interact normally.

I would encourage you to see what other mods you may have installed, but I don't really have the time at the moment to look into this for you.

its fine. its possible another mod was at fault. after each train was cycled to its next station it fixed itself. its a good mod, just not my flavor
