Ore patches now spill over into the sea as submerged variants. Dredge them up with new floating hardware, and build deeper into the blue with water-placeable refined concrete.
I started a Factorio: Space Age game, and am currently playing through the early game(Red Science). I noticed that, with Dredge Works installed, I could not place Stone Bricks for a walking path.
I removed Dredge Works from my active mods and tried again, and I could tile the Stone Bricks.
The issue seems the collision layer change of items - removing the item.place_as_tile.condition.layers["refined_concrete"] = true loop allows placement of bricks on land again (perhaps the "condition" mask is a placement whitelist, and not a blacklist?)
Collision refactor made a previous variable edit unnecessary, and removal appears to have fixed it. Bonus is that you can now easily replace refined concrete with stone brick on land tiles.
Should be fixed for real this time (post if it's not). Restrictions on the refined concrete itself may be a little lax with Space Age yet, update to that will happen when I actually have Space Age.
