Ore patches now spill over into the sea as submerged variants. Dredge them up with new floating hardware, and build deeper into the blue with water-placeable refined concrete.
If by that you mean adding some sort of enemies to this mod, then no, there aren't any plans for that. If there's another mod that adds such a thing and isn't interacting well with this one, that'd be another matter.
