Logistics Logistic network Storage Blueprints

b Rails

For some reason, while I'm building my rail network, this mod seems to provide everything EXCEPT the actual rails. I can see that the signals are getting delivered just fine, and I'm pretty sure the large power poles as well, but the rails themselves never arrive.

It also doesn't provide repair kits when you have a damaged building in range.

The repair kit behavior is intended. This will be possible manually once I add a access-menu.

New Version: 0.0.3
Rails and other entities that have different variations can no be accessed too.

Thanks!

It works for rails now, but it's incredibly slow and sometimes it just plain doesn't build some rails.

Edit: It's also very slow at providing train stations.

This mod seems to just void several items - the new Selector Combinator, the charging stations from the Electric Trains mod(the Space Exploration one), and a few others. I have crafted 700+ selector combinators and built 25 of them and the rest are just gone, for example.

The building delay is tied to the ticks-between attempts. I've added settings for these in the new version so it can be tweaked to your liking.
700 selector combinators can not be uploaded to the storage. In the current version it is limited to one stack (also changeable with the new update).

I understand that only one stack stays in storage at a time, I mean they're GONE. Reduced to ashes. Deleted. Attempting to place a ghost of a selector combinator did absolutely nothing, and when I checked my production stats I'd produced over 700, yet there were none in storage and only ~20 built in the world. The same happened for the charging station from Electric Trains, where the building would get completely erased instead of uploaded to the depot's storage.

Sorry but I can't reproduce this. In every test the depots stop uploading when the cloud storage is full. No items get deleted the chest just fills up.

Please provide some more information. Did you produce the items on the same surface as you build on? Is it possible that the items are added to your inventory are uses for construction and the surplus that construction robots would bring from far away gets deposited to storage chests?

My entire base is on a single surface, so yes they're all being deposited into the depots on the same surface I'm attempting to build on. The items aren't anywhere in the logistics network according to the "L" menu in-game, so they're not in any storage chests somewhere. My game is heavily modded, so it's possible it might be some sort of edge case/mod conflict, but given that it happened to the vanilla selector combinator, I'm not so sure. I never saw any items in any of the chests they were getting placed in, yet there's a discrepancy of ~700 items that are completely missing. My production graphs show 700+ crafted, ~20 placed, zero in storage, and zero consumed/destroyed.

Here's a clip showing the items getting voided, the number of items produced, and the number of items in the logistic network, and how many have been built. As can be seen, these numbers don't match up, not even close.

Thanks for uploading the clip. Unfortunately your clip does not include the produced boiler statistics only the that 234 were built and 159 deconstructed.

The next version will include a "/dd_print_storage" command that lists all contents of the cloud-storage. It will also print some other information regarding surface and force. Maybe this will help identify the problem.
Just for info: Items that are in the cloud-storage won't be part of the logistics network anymore and will not be listet in the logistics overview.

Please check in some time for version 0.0.5 to get the new command.

I appreciate your efforts in working with me :D I didn't think to include the produced boiler statistics because I showed the number of items produced by the assembler making boilers, and it's made the vast majority of my boilers and that's the only recipe that machine has ever had - it shows ~1200 items finished. Apologies for not making that more obvious in the clip.
