Hi! Thanks for the mod and especially for native compatibility with Space Exploration.

Is current operation could be outputed as combinator signal?
If you enable Factorio GUI option "Show combinator settings in alt mode" nework signal hides current status. If we could have opearion signal we could attach it to lamp and it also could be more visible/readable from map view.

Also instead outputting signal there might be build in lamp in combinator to show status like in LTN station or Rail Logistics Dispatcher combinator.

This isn't planned to be added because it has a lot of negative side effects for building and blueprinting working stations.

You mean because of compound entities? That's why Rail Logistics Dispatcher has lamps instead of combinators, I think.

that and the fact that if stations output anything other than the items being delivered it will become necessary to filter that signal out at most stations, which is very annoying. Maybe an un-blueprintable, un-wireable compound lamp will be added the the cybernetic combinator in the future, but only during the art overhaul that is planned. The factorio api has terrible support for blueprinting compound entities.

I'm very much in favour of avoiding compound entities as much as possible. It's one of the things I liked about Cybersyn over LTN.
